The circle of persons accepted for the position of court session secretary in courts is being expanded
November 19, 2025
The Judicial and Legal Council has examined the shortage of legal personnel in some regions of our country, the responsibilities of the relevant position, as well as the conditions for holding the position of court session secretary in the courts of first and appellate instance in connection with the emerging need.
Thus, in the "Educational Requirements" section of the relevant job description, in addition to the specialty of Law, the specialties of Philology, Philosophy, Translation (by languages), Journalism, Bibliography, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Regional Studies (by regions), International Relations, Librarianship and Information, State and Public Relations, State and Municipal Administration and Social Work were also included.
This change serves the following purposes:
• Expanding human resources potential: Eliminating the shortage of personnel in the regions and ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the courts.
• Increasing the effectiveness of court processes: More equitable distribution of workload and strengthening organizational support for sessions.
• Involvement of young people in the judicial system: Support for the integration of individuals with higher education in humanitarian and social fields into civil service and judicial activities.
• Improving the quality of administrative management: Involvement of personnel with advantages in language, communication, analytical thinking and organizational skills in the daily activities of the courts.
It should be noted that until now, only persons with higher education in the specialty "Law" could apply for the position of court clerk. The new mechanism will allow for the implementation of a more flexible and inclusive personnel policy and will make a significant contribution to the development of human resources in the judicial system.
